Dental Education

We provide a service to your early childhood centre where we come and provide an educational talk discussing teeth, tooth eruption, brushing technique and food choices. The talks are tailored to each age range.

Parents/caregivers must fill out a medical history and consent form digitally with a signature. Parents/caregivers are encouraged and welcome to attend. We strongly believe that parental involvement is essential for maintaining oral
health.

Preventative Dental Services

General Check-up:

  • How many teeth are present?
  • How much plaque and calculus is present?
  • Is there is any decay?
  • If there is any grinding? (Airway issues)
  • If there is any crowding? (Future orthodontics referral)
For each child a disposable mirror and probe is used. This allows the child to become familiar to a dental check up in a setting that is comfortable to them. It can be a group activity where their friends can observe the procedure.

Clean + Topical application of mineralisation agent:

We will provide a digital report to parents/caregivers. My team will contact parents/caregivers if there are any major concerns.

  • We use prophy handpiece with a disposable rubber tip for each child with prophy paste (a tooth polishing paste) which will clean the child’s teeth
  • We apply a remineralisation agent which will help remineralise your child's teeth.

Clean + Topical application of mineralisation agent:

  • We apply a remineralisation agent which will help remineralise. We advise no eating or drinking for 30 mins
All children will be provided with a goody bag with oral health education material and a toothbrush. We will provide a individual report to parents/caregivers. My team will contact parents/caregivers if there are any major concerns.
