With a background in Early Childhood Education spanning over 10 years, I’ve often observed that children’s oral health and daily dental care are overlooked. I firmly believe that every child should have access to dental checkups in the comfort of their own school.
Since joining Dental For Tiny Teeth, I’m confident that each child we see has the opportunity to build good oral health habits into their daily routine. Our approach ensures that dental checkups are conducted with confidence and ease amongst peers, and we incorporate educational games to make the experience memorable.
Being a part of Dental For Tiny Teeth has been incredibly rewarding. Each visit provides a sense of achievement, and I’ve even been able to implement positive changes in my own child’s oral health routine at home. After all, “A healthy mouth is a healthy life.”
As an Oral Health Therapist (OHT), I believe prevention is better than cure.
Many children feel anxious and scared when attending dental appointments. Hence it is important for kids to be in the dental environment from a young age where they can get used to the instruments, procedures and loud noises. Moreover, prevention teaches children good oral hygiene habits and healthy food choices which will enhance their oral and general wellbeing.
