Hello, I'm Dr Angela!

As a dentist, I was seeing too many preschoolers come into the clinic in pain. This usually means the tooth/teeth are not saveable. The young child will need intrusive treatment, thus, innately developing a negative association with the dentist. This cycle usually continues and causes poor dental health over their lifetime.

Hence, I created Dental for Tiny Teeth. My team visits childcare centres and provides a check up and clean to children. Parents are more than welcome to attend. It is convenient and comfortable for their child because they are in a familiar environment they enjoy.

As a mother and dentist, I absolutely believe in creating good oral health habits from a young age. It is important for the growth and wellbeing of our children.

Hi, I’m Liz

Dental Operations Co-ordinator

Through my work in primary school and special needs teaching, dental assisting and most recently disability, I have seen the importance that good oral health can play in every single child’s life.

Not every child has access, opportunity and understanding to visit the dentist from an early age, especially within a positive context.

The opportunity to teach and build these healthy habits with children is special and lessons they will carry with them into adulthood. To be able to bring this program into childcare centres ensures every child gains access, opportunity and understanding in a safe and happy environment. That is where the best learning takes place.

Hello, I'm Emma

With a background in Early Childhood Education spanning over 10 years, I’ve often observed that children’s oral health and daily dental care are overlooked. I firmly believe that every child should have access to dental checkups in the comfort of their own school.

Since joining Dental For Tiny Teeth, I’m confident that each child we see has the opportunity to build good oral health habits into their daily routine. Our approach ensures that dental checkups are conducted with confidence and ease amongst peers, and we incorporate educational games to make the experience memorable.

Being a part of Dental For Tiny Teeth has been incredibly rewarding. Each visit provides a sense of achievement, and I’ve even been able to implement positive changes in my own child’s oral health routine at home. After all, “A healthy mouth is a healthy life.”

Hi, I'm Mumina!

Oral Health Therapist

As an Oral Health Therapist (OHT), I believe prevention is better than cure.

Many children feel anxious and scared when attending dental appointments. Hence it is important for kids to be in the dental environment from a young age where they can get used to the instruments, procedures and loud noises. Moreover, prevention teaches children good oral hygiene habits and healthy food choices which will enhance their oral and general wellbeing.
